Position Overview:

As an Optical Retail Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing sales performance within the Vision Center. Your responsibilities will include ensuring effective product presentation, maintaining competitive pricing, and managing inventory levels. You will also be involved in budgeting and forecasting sales while analyzing economic trends and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Management: Drive sales by ensuring optimal merchandise presentation and accurate pricing strategies.

2. Customer Service Excellence: Model and enforce superior customer service standards, guiding Associates in resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.

3. Community Engagement: Oversee and participate in community outreach initiatives, encouraging Associates to contribute positively to the community.

4. Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations by analyzing reports and implementing safety controls.

5. Team Development: Provide supervision and growth opportunities for Associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.

6. Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality eyewear by consulting with customers, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining confidentiality.

7. Open Communication: Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with Associates to address concerns and provide resolutions.

8. Strategic Coordination: Develop relationships with key stakeholders to support plans that meet customer and business needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include completion of 2 or more years of college or equivalent retail and supervisory experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in supervising Associates is preferred.
