POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will oversee all warehouse personnel and manage the organization of donated goods for distribution. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of the warehouse facilities while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse staff.
  • Assess staffing requirements, allocate tasks, recommend hiring decisions, and conduct performance reviews for team members while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Foster positive relationships among team members, understanding their specific needs and preferences.
  • Ensure efficient waste management practices are in place.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep of all company property within designated areas.
  • Maintain open communication with store managers to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement best practices for processing and pricing donated items, minimizing waste through effective training and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with transportation and donation management teams to ensure safe and efficient handling of donated goods.
  • Propose and execute strategies for process enhancements.
  • Oversee dispatch operations to maximize workflow efficiency.
  • Manage the fueling depot program, ensuring accurate and timely audits and reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Prioritize safety in all operational decisions.
  • Provide weekly reports on accomplishments to the Director of Retail Operations.
  • Perform additional related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in logistics, customer service, or retail operations is essential.

Travel Requirements: Flexibility in work hours is necessary, including potential overtime.

Confidentiality: This role involves handling sensitive information.

Mental/Visual Requirements: Normal mental and visual capabilities are required for the flow of work.

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting and carrying over 75 pounds for extended periods.

Work Environment: Involves working in warehouse and surrounding operational areas.
