The Information Technology Supervisor is tasked with managing the organization's technological framework, systems, security measures, and policies. This position involves directing the IT division to ensure that the company's hardware and software requirements are fulfilled, driving organizational success through technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and sustain critical IT infrastructure, which includes operating systems, security solutions, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Implement a new ERP system effectively.
  • Evaluate departmental requirements, pinpoint vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to guide business strategies.
  • Ensure seamless integration of network components to fulfill business objectives, utilizing their full capabilities while staying updated on new features and competitive solutions.
  • Continuously assess processes, technologies, and vendors to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Educate staff on software and hardware usage; troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance as necessary.
  • Possess a general understanding or ability to resolve issues related to data separation from servers to comply with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Formulate and implement disaster recovery plans and maintain data backups.
  • Oversee IT personnel by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, communicating job expectations, and evaluating their performance.
  • Conduct system audits, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements.
  • Safeguard assets, information security, and control frameworks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Support multiple locations across the United States.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT or a related field.
  • Research and assess emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
  • Extensive knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure, and networking.
  • Experience in managing IT teams and maintaining relationships with offshore support providers.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, think strategically, and align technology with business goals.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and data protection practices.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Alternatively, substantial work experience may be considered.
  • Professional certifications are highly preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of the shift.
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional climbing of stairs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be capable of visually inspecting machinery.
  • Required to use hands for grasping, lifting, handling, carrying, or feeling objects frequently.
  • May need to reach above shoulder height and below the waist regularly.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending may be required.
  • Compliance with safety standards and procedures is mandatory.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons and/or arm guards, safety glasses, hearing protection).
  • Temperature fluctuations in the workplace may occur.
