Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and motivated Process Development Engineer with a focus on Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) and Wet Process Development. This role is essential in facilitating the integration of technology into key products, aligning with HDD new product specifications throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with wafer wet process development engineers and technicians to establish new CMP processes, methodologies, and tooling to meet product launch requirements.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including design and integration, to address any integration challenges related to CMP.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts in the development line, conducting defect and root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee the transition of new processes to manufacturing engineering, supporting the ME team in process implementation and ramp-up.
- Utilize quantitative analysis and innovative machine learning techniques for data analysis in wafer wet processes, providing statistically-driven insights to enhance process performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
MS or PhD in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related engineering discipline. Familiarity with microelectronics wafer fabrication processes, including CMP, photolithography, and etching.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience in wafer fabrication environments.
Skills:
Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal. Proficient in resolving issues and collaborating with diverse teams.
Working Hours:
5-day workweek, including weekends.
