Janitor Supervisor

Location: Alameda

Payrate: $28-30/hour

Shift: Grave

Description:

• Oversees custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion.
• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing subordinate employees' work, covering sick calls.
• Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives.
• Conducts inspections and investigates the client's complaints of the building to check for cleanliness and advise subordinates of found conditions and correction methods.
• Check on the property for any possible projects that need to be done.
• Ensure staff is in uniform

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. "Preferred"
• Minimum '3' years' experience
• Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Must have dependable transportation to job site
• Bilingual (Spanish - English) strongly preferred
• Must have basic computer skills
