Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the new product introduction (NPI) water team to create innovative solutions for both residential and commercial water treatment markets.
  • Utilizing established practices and methodologies to analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and adhere to standard operating procedures through a series of detailed processes.
  • Preparing reports, drafting plans, assisting with specifications, and conducting preliminary equipment assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in the drinking water sector, including planning, design, startup, and optimization.
  • Strong collaborative skills, working across departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Flexibility to work with teams across different time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Proven project management experience with successful technical presentations and proposal writing.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with 3-D modeling software such as Solidworks or Pro-E.
  • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations for initial analyses.
  • Familiarity with FEA & CFD applications to inform design choices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for various materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in specifying mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
