About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Development Representative to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Lead Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and customer adoption of our cloud computing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify and generate leads, prospect for new customers, and develop and execute sales campaigns.
  • Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements, and correlate business value to customer needs.
  • Generate interest and provide vision of the portfolio of AWS solutions to potential customers using written reports/documents and verbal presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with existing and developing technologies related to cloud computing and update knowledge about new services.
  • Achieve monthly qualification goals and share them verbally and in written format.
  • Update and maintain customer information within Salesforce.com to include detailed call notes that illustrate a firm understanding of the opportunity with clearly-defined next steps.
  • Present a high-level, technical solution to diverse audiences, including AWS colleagues, prospects, and customers relevant to target industry or market.
  • Conduct research to stay informed, learn about existing markets, and grow knowledge about new ones.

Requirements
  • Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant Business to Business (B2B) IT sales and prospecting experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of outbound campaign execution experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, and applications, as well as the ability to effectively verbally communicate with customers.
