Position Overview

We are in search of a visionary and proactive Vice President of Product Marketing to spearhead our initiatives at Dandelion Energy. In this essential position, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing marketing strategies specifically designed for builders and installers, thereby supporting our expanding national sales force and ensuring our innovative geothermal solutions reach the appropriate markets.

Your proficiency will be vital in establishing our products as the leading option for cost-effective and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Targeted Marketing Strategies
    • Collaborate closely with sales and executive teams to formulate marketing strategies tailored to our diverse customer segments.
    • Utilize a mix of direct sales initiatives, industry events, advertising campaigns, and public relations efforts to enhance customer engagement.
    • Identify and assess participation in regional events that align with our sales goals.
  2. Create Marketing Collateral
    • Develop compelling sales messaging that effectively communicates Dandelion's value propositions to various stakeholders.
    • Prepare and refine engaging presentation materials for our sales team to showcase our products to potential clients and partners.
    • Generate high-quality website content, including insightful blog posts that reflect industry trends and company news.
    • Produce comprehensive case studies and white papers to illustrate the advantages of our products in practical applications.
  3. Oversee Digital Marketing Efforts
    • Manage the company's website, ensuring it is optimized for search engine visibility and oversee our social media platforms to enhance our online presence.
    • Drive lead generation through targeted advertising campaigns aimed at attracting and converting prospective customers.
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate marketing performance metrics to assess the success of our digital initiatives.
  4. Conduct Market Research
    • Compile a detailed list of target customers based on thorough market research and segmentation analysis.
    • Maintain comprehensive competitive intelligence to understand the strengths and weaknesses of industry competitors.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in a product marketing capacity.
  • Experience in B2B environments with large, national enterprise sales teams.
  • Background in a startup setting.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (honors preferred).
  • Strong analytical abilities with a capacity for first-principles thinking and problem-solving.
