We are currently seeking a skilled Administrative/Accounting Assistant to support our operations.



Key Responsibilities

This position entails the collection of packing slips for ongoing projects, digitizing them, and entering the data into a database.

Collaboration with various teams is essential, including:

  • Working alongside procurement and project management teams to outline expected deliveries.
  • Coordinating with field and warehouse managers to ensure effective communication regarding packing lists.
  • Updating purchase orders as required.
  • Assisting branch accountants with miscellaneous requests.

Engagement with Suppliers or Shippers:

  • In the event of discrepancies, promptly communicate with project management, suppliers, or shippers to ensure the accuracy of received goods.
  • Take necessary actions to rectify issues related to incorrect shipments.

Maintaining Accurate Records:

  • Timely updates of inventory records.
  • Supporting project inventory control by monitoring stock levels.


Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a receiving clerk or in a comparable role.
  • Ability to meet weekly deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency: working knowledge of data entry software.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Capability to perform fundamental calculations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
