Organization: Georgia Learning Foundation Position: Administrative Support Specialist

**Position Description:**

Administrative Support Specialist will have both internal and external facing responsibilities, ranging from donor relations and project management (event coordination) to administration (developing and maintaining donor information). The Administrative Support Specialist will support Georgia Learning Foundation staff and will report to the Director of Operations.

* Develop/maintain and update donor information system/database

* Reconciliation of financial statements with database

* Developing/maintaining and generating reports requested by Georgia Learning Foundation staff

* Automation of systems

* Generating and distributing donor receipts

* Developing and supporting mailing and email campaigns

* Assist with research and cost comparisons for vendors to maintain cost effectiveness

* Providing support of mailings or coordinating bulk mailing processes

* Assist in the updating of the website

* Greet and direct office visitors, answer main office telephone system, respond to direct requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff

* Following up with donors regarding donations

* General office duties such as typing, bookkeeping, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, faxing, etc.

* Coordinate materials for meetings and training sessions and other activities of the organization

* Provide meeting support as needed (e.g., scheduling conference rooms, coordinating food, logistics)

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested with a sense of humor and team spirit

* Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation

* Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills

* Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning

* Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people

* Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed

**Qualifications**

* Minimum one year office administrative support experience is preferred.

* Some college preferred.

* Positive Attitude and team player

* Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure.

* Must have proficient experience and skilled in the use of software programs such as MS Word, ACCESS, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe.
