Position Summary:
The Office Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial and human resources operations. This role includes managing recruitment, employee retention, orientation for new hires, benefits administration, payroll processing, and general accounting responsibilities. The position reports directly to the Executive Director and may involve supervising additional staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proficiency in relevant software and internet applications.
  • Organize and manage resident, office, and employee documentation.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and manage employee benefits.
  • Address resident billing inquiries and maintain weekly ancillary charge records.
  • Ensure timely deposits of move-in fees and rents.
  • Send out monthly delinquency notices and adhere to collection protocols.
  • Process resident lease renewal notifications.
  • Accurately prepare and submit payroll to the corporate office as scheduled.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all proprietary, financial, and resident information.
  • Monitor petty cash transactions and reconcile as necessary.
  • Process and file workers' compensation claims.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding office records and sensitive information.
  • Understand and implement safety and disaster protocols.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program.
  • Engage in community events and activities.
  • Attend all required training sessions, in-service programs, and staff meetings.
  • Promote a safe working environment by preventing accidents and maintaining equipment.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude towards residents, visitors, families, and colleagues.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures of Addington Place of Johns Creek.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in Human Resources or Accounting.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Experience in senior housing or long-term care settings is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities are essential.
