Key Responsibilities

The Human Resources Manager will oversee daily operations of the US team while providing support to international HR functions as needed. This role includes assessing organizational requirements and assisting in the design and execution of programs, policies, and processes that promote continuous learning and development for QuintEvents team members and leaders.

Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to local and national regulations governing human resource programs.
  • Stay informed about current guidelines, legislation, and trends related to ACA, data privacy, recruitment, employment law, and more.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols for both in-office and travel scenarios.

Organizational Development

  • Enhance people-centered initiatives such as hiring, onboarding, change management, and performance management.
  • Formulate and execute retention strategies, including engagement activities and internal communications.
  • Manage comprehensive team member programs encompassing candidate experience, onboarding, terminations, and training.
  • Conduct assessments to identify needs for improving employee performance and overall organizational effectiveness.

Total Rewards

  • Lead the strategy for total rewards offerings, including benefits, leave management, payroll, and retirement plans.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of rewards programs to ensure alignment with business and talent strategies.

Essential Duties

  • Oversee and support all US-based operations to optimize people processes, policies, and compliance.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and change management, collaborating on new initiatives and policy changes.
  • Guide and manage the HR team’s professional development to ensure a strong foundation of expertise within the organization.
  • Supervise performance management and annual review processes.
  • Collaborate with directors and managers to provide employee relations support and best practices for handling workplace issues.
  • Develop standardized processes utilizing HRIS and electronic tools.
  • Recommend improvements to policies and procedures to enhance operations.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Capable of navigating various departments within the organization.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • CIPD accreditation is preferred (UK only).
  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resource management is preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality are essential.
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
