Key Responsibilities

The Human Resources Manager will oversee daily operations of the US team while providing support to international HR functions. This role includes assessing organizational needs and assisting in the design and implementation of programs, policies, and processes that promote continuous learning and development for QuintEvents team members and leaders.

Compliance Management

  • Ensure adherence to local and national HR regulations.
  • Stay updated on current guidelines, legislation, and trends in areas such as ACA, data privacy, recruitment, and employment law.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols for both in-office and travel scenarios.

Organizational Development

  • Enhance people-centered programs including hiring, onboarding, change management, and performance management.
  • Design and implement retention strategies that include engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Manage the full cycle of team member programs, from candidate experience to onboarding and training.
  • Conduct assessments to identify enhancements needed for employee performance and overall organizational success.

Total Rewards Strategy

  • Oversee a comprehensive strategy for total rewards, including benefits, leave management, payroll, and retirement plans.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of rewards programs to ensure alignment with business and talent strategies.

Essential Duties

  • Provide oversight and support for all US-based people operations to optimize processes, policies, and compliance.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and manage change, supporting new initiatives and significant policy updates.
  • Guide and mentor the HR team, ensuring a robust pool of expertise within the organization.
  • Oversee performance management and annual review processes.
  • Collaborate with management to provide employee relations support and counsel on best practices.
  • Develop standardized processes utilizing HRIS and electronic tools.
  • Recommend improvements in policies and procedures to enhance operations.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to navigate various departments within the organization.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CIPD accreditation preferred (UK only).
  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resource management.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality are essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
