Job Overview

FUNCTION: This role is integral to a collaborative team of Business Managers, focusing on sales objectives and strategic planning, channel enhancement, and market evaluation. The position is responsible for delivering market insights, including competitive analysis, to both the sales and marketing divisions as well as the Senior Leadership team. Additionally, this role manages all financial plans, encompassing expense and revenue projections.

OBJECTIVE: This position serves as a primary resource for Business Managers regarding inquiries, troubleshooting, and analytical support for sales performance.

  1. Collaborate with the team to formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at driving revenue growth within the tractor operations domain.
  2. Perform market research and analysis to uncover trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
  3. Develop sales strategies, establish objectives, and delineate sales territories to maximize market reach.
  4. Enhance sales workflows and operations to boost efficiency and minimize expenses.
  5. Foster and sustain robust relationships with Business Managers and key stakeholders.
  6. Examine sales data to inform decisions and propose necessary strategic adjustments.
  7. Oversee the sales operations budget, including expense and revenue forecasts.
  8. Produce regular reports and present sales performance metrics to Senior Leadership.
  9. Work in conjunction with internal departments (marketing, product development, logistics, finance, and operations) to ensure alignment with overarching company objectives.
  10. Guarantee compliance with pertinent industry regulations and standards in sales practices.
  11. Identify and implement innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance sales processes and customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience in sales, marketing, and product knowledge within the farm equipment, heavy machinery, outdoor power, or related sectors is essential.
  2. Advanced analytical and reporting expertise in the relevant industry.
  3. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language is mandatory.
  4. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Customer Sales and Service within the related field.
  5. Proficient in problem-solving techniques.
  6. Strong understanding of Business Accounting and Systems to evaluate issues related to daily sales transactions.
  7. Experience in enhancing sales processes and conducting root-cause analysis.
  8. Ability to coordinate training initiatives for both new and existing process instruction.
  9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional presentation capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Familiarity with SAP systems is required.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
  3. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical manuals, parts manuals, etc.
  4. Experience in management or team leadership is advantageous.
