The Senior Program Manager, Market Strategy will play a pivotal role in transforming the driving experience and reshaping the business model for Mazda North American Operations' electric vehicles. This role will require a deep understanding of Mazda's business strategy, covering areas such as compliance, portfolio design, production footprint, product development, manufacturing, and product cycle planning.
Key Responsibilities:- BEV Program and Business Strategy Development: Lead the development of an all-new, market equation approach for the BEV business strategy to support re-designed customer experience and business structure.
- Milestone Approvals: Influence executives and stakeholders to gain support, secure resources, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Product Information Management: Prepare, communicate, and support operation and dealers to launch and sell cars.
- Other Responsibilities: Utilize and leverage various data and information sources, both internal and external for analytical support including market data, competitor data, and customer data.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Project Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in automotive/OEM industry or related field required to include three (3) years experience in strategic mid/long-term planning and implementation.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, self-starter, flexible thinker, and outstanding communicator comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adept at influencing diverse personalities and viewpoints.
Travel as required by business needs.
