Position Summary:

The Analyst for Sales Strategy and Operations will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive sales data analysis, facilitating sales operations, and managing the sales commissions process. This pivotal role requires a strategic partnership with the commercial leadership team, where the ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to convert detailed analyses into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Data Analysis and Operations:
    • Collaborate with the commercial leadership team to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
    • Extract, analyze, and interpret sales data from Salesforce CRM to uncover trends and opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain real-time reports and dashboards as requested by the commercial management team.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, analyzing results and communicating key business insights.
  2. Sales Operations Support:
    • Facilitate data-driven sales operations discussions to ensure accountability against defined action plans.
    • Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Business Management, and Marketing teams to support their commercial objectives.
    • Conduct regular quota achievement reporting and provide consultation on funnel build and closing metrics.
    • Assist the commercial management team with sales forecasting.
  3. Sales Commissions Management:
    • Oversee the sales commissions process, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments.
  4. Project Management:
    • Manage the transition of commissions processing and reporting into a new specialized tool.
    • Provide administrative support for the commissions tool post-implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. A degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or Business Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Sales Operations, Sales Effectiveness, or a similar role. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems is essential. Experience with data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and coding (e.g., Python, SQL, R) is advantageous.
