District Sales Manager

Job Summary: The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation in a specified district or major geographical area for Texas First Rentals, LLC. This position requires a strong understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, develop, and evaluate a team of sales representatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Model and promote the company's values-based leadership approach to ensure alignment with the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to accommodate corporate goals and objectives.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Advise dealers and clients on sales and advertising techniques.
- Assign sales territories to sales representatives.
- Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.
- Coordinate liaison between the sales department and other sales-related units.
- Analyze and control expenditures of the district to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
- Recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work.
- Work safely at all times and adhere to all applicable safety policies; comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- One year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience required; three or more years of experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Driven and results-oriented; business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position directs and manages the Texas First sales team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel: Up to 50% travel. Valid driver's license.
Work Environment: Working conditions are primarily indoors in a professional office environment. Occasionally works outdoors with possible exposure to temperature variations, damp/wet surfaces, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, high noise areas, dust, and unfavorable fumes and vapors. Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
