Position: Senior Claims Analyst

As a Senior Claims Analyst at Western & Southern Financial Group, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, investigating, interpreting, and approving various claims and policy options. Your responsibilities will include making well-informed decisions, performing manual calculations for policy values, and providing assistance to team members across different levels within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate claims, ensuring completeness and precision, while coding relevant systems accordingly
  • Assist in compliance with tax regulations by calculating necessary withholdings, updating cost basis, and preparing relevant documentation
  • Utilize specialized software and actuarial methods to manually compute policy values
  • Reconcile and balance financial ledgers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to adapt to evolving industry standards
  • Provide training and support to ensure accuracy and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Execute additional assigned tasks while adhering to all organizational policies and standards

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required; some college coursework is preferred
  • Proven experience in problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking
  • In-depth knowledge of financial transactions, mathematics, and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a similar role and proficiency in relevant systems and software applications
