Job Overview

The National Center for Families Learning is on the lookout for a Family Engagement Training Coordinator (Bilingual) to collaborate with a diverse team, ensuring the effective delivery of NCFL's educational content and methodologies in various communities. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and facilitate both online and in-person training sessions, coaching, and technical support in targeted communities.
  • Engage in ongoing collaboration and feedback sessions with a team of Content and Training Specialists to foster continuous enhancement.
  • Stay informed about evidence-based professional development strategies to support NCFL's initiatives.
  • Identify and utilize opportunities to promote advancements in family leadership within the community.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with community partners to further the organization's objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of Parent Leadership initiatives by collaborating with parents, facilitators, and essential stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage a broader coalition of local stakeholders to bolster NCFL's mission and program objectives.
  • Coordinate translation processes and review documents in Spanish.
  • Assess and refine internal translation and interpretation practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide Spanish/English interpretation support during meetings as necessary (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Participate in organizational and industry-related meetings as required.
  • Set personal goals that align with NCFL's mission and vision.
  • Contribute actively as a member of assigned work teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, training, or coaching within educational settings, particularly in diverse communities.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required.
  • Experience collaborating with adults, children, community partners, and evaluators.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate and convey ideas effectively.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and a passion for teamwork.
  • Proven experience in program development and execution.
  • Possess a deep understanding of family leadership principles.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, ensuring respect and value for all participants.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects efficiently, both independently and collaboratively.
  • A steadfast belief that all families aspire for the best for their children and deserve respect and dignity.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology in educational contexts, including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
  • Exhibit self-awareness, a commitment to reflection, and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in collaborative planning and execution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including occasional evenings and weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
  • Effective communication with others to exchange information.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000
