We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Supervised Visitation Specialist to join our Child Welfare Team at Family & Children's Place. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing safe and supportive visitation services for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate visitation services for children and their birth parents, foster parents, or caregivers.
- Provide transportation for children to and from scheduled visits.
- Deliver services utilizing trauma-informed, culturally competent, evidence-based practices and policies.
- Work collaboratively with families to achieve positive outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree required; training and experience in supervised visitation services or related services desirable.
- Experience working with children in a care-giving role required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift children and car seats.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Family & Children's Place is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical services to vulnerable children and families. We are committed to building a culture of respect, connection, and authenticity, and we seek like-minded professionals to join our team.
What We Offer- A competitive wage between $18/hour and $19.50/hour.
- A stipend of $125 paid quarterly to cover vehicle expenses.
