Job Title: Director of Business Development

At TechFlow, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our Federal Energy and Mobility Solutions business development efforts. Job Summary

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Federal Energy and Mobility Solutions market. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing and executing capture plans to win new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Federal Energy and Mobility Solutions market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including researching and analyzing market trends, identifying potential customers, and developing and executing capture plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and other business partners.
  • Develop and execute capture plans to win new business, including developing value propositions, discriminators, and differentiators, and identifying customer decision-makers and performing competitive assessments.
  • Drive technical and acquisition client call plans and other outreach efforts to qualify and inform opportunity pursuit decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of overall business development experience, including at least 4 years specifically in the Energy and Mobility sectors, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue and sales targets.
  • Experience with the US government's acquisition process (FAR) and engagement with procurement officers, executives, and decision-makers.
  • Experience with the entire business development lifecycle from qualification through contract award.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project implementation experience.
  • Existing, leverageable client relationships that can generate immediate contracts for energy or mobility-related projects while other pipelines are developed.
  • Prior military or federal client experience.
