Compensation: Salary Range: Up to $140K (salary is commensurate with education and experience)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote/Telework position. Must be located within the Washington Metropolitan area.

Role Summary

The individual will play a pivotal role in establishing a comprehensive cloud infrastructure for unclassified software development, analysis, and hosting within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Note: This position necessitates an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver support for the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Oversee IT system infrastructure and manage related processes. Ensure operational support for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and more.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Facilitate communication of status updates to agency management and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the dispatch system for hardware issues and engage in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and load software, troubleshoot, maintain system integrity, and implement enhancements for improved reliability and performance.
Qualifications
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
  • Clearance: Active Top-Secret SCI with Poly
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Proven ability to provide detailed analysis and feedback to management for escalated issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments.
