Role Responsibilities:

Provide advanced Systems Engineering and Technical Support for the Zero Trust Implementation. The selected candidate will collaborate with existing Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capability teams to define requirements, develop architectural frameworks, and create design documentation. Responsibilities also include conducting technology assessments and supporting risk mitigation evaluations. The candidate is expected to deliver hands-on support for configuration management, assist with installation troubleshooting, and work with cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in industry standards, federal regulations, and Department of Defense policies, as well as create and maintain documentation related to ICAM Zero Trust, including release notes, installation guides, user manuals, frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and plans in compliance with Zero Trust mandates. Familiarity with technologies such as REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, and Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML) is essential.

Additional responsibilities include researching and analyzing cloud security environments, assisting with Risk Management Framework documentation, identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services, defining implementation processes, and outlining hardware and software considerations. The candidate will also support software developers in tracking and defining requirements, planning sprints, providing design input, and assisting with testing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with software development methodologies.
  • Ability to address complex system integration challenges.
  • Experience presenting to senior management.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Spring Boot, Java, Git, and microservices.
  • Demonstrated engineering experience in programs involving requirements analysis, functional analysis, and system architecture development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with Software Development, Test Engineering, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in developing program review materials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision and a customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI Standards.

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Technical Consultant in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, 5 years of additional Technical Consultant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, totaling 15 years of experience.

Security Clearance: This position requires an active Security Clearance with the appropriate Polygraph.
