About the Role

VikTech LLC is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the technical management, operation, and maintenance of our Information Assurance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Provide technical management, operation, and maintenance of specialized and general Information Assurance systems in support of mission requirements.
  • Hardware and Software Deployment: Deploy or install hardware and software, perform troubleshooting and user assistance.
  • User Account Management: Maintain user accounts, access control, and system / security configuration.
  • Operating System Maintenance: Maintain operating systems and configuration of computer systems and network devices.
  • Custom System Environments: Assist Government with creation of custom system environments for IA related system prototyping and development of system assessment/hardening techniques and usage of related IA software tools.
  • Network Device Management: Manage file servers, web servers, email servers, directory servers, workstations, storage devices, network routing/switching devices, and firewalls, including physical and virtual instances of each.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or Information Assurance/Cyber Security. The position may be substituted for 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following areas: Systems Administration, Systems Integration, Network Administration, Usage, maintenance and management of I A systems and tools.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of several of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows, Linux, Solaris, Cisco IOS, Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, Disk SAN, server and network hardware and media (bladeservers, fiberchannel, and network cabling).
  • Clearance: TS/SCI w POLY.
  • Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Centos and RHEL Linux OS, and scripting. Experience with cloud technologies. Working knowledge of automated configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet. General understanding of SIEM technologies such as Elasticsearch or Splunk highly desirable but not required.
