Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Systems Administrator to enhance our IT support capabilities. This role involves the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, managing the infrastructure, and overseeing processes related to these systems. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of various client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Manage daily activities related to the configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems effectively.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, conducting system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Engage in troubleshooting IT systems and provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated issues.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, ensuring integrity and performance enhancements.

Qualifications:

TS/SCI with Poly required

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator in similar programs and contracts.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution is required; five (5) years of additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Proven experience in supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Ability to provide in-depth support for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
