Job Summary:

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. You will manage IT system infrastructure and processes, provide support to IT systems, and analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Support for IT Systems: Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Manage IT System Infrastructure: Manage IT system infrastructure and processes, including configuration and operation of IT systems, and provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Analyze and Resolve Complex Problems: Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration, and provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Configure and Manage Operating Systems: Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support System Design and Architecture: Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware, and possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with Current Full Scope Polygraph: Must have a Top Secret/Secret/Clearance (TS/SCI) with a current Full Scope Polygraph.
  • IAT I Certification: Must have IAT I Certification.
  • 15 Years of Experience: Must have 15 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must be knowledgeable in RHEL 8, Satellite, Salt, Ansible, and scripting, and proficient in Windows Scripting, Help Desk Environment, and have experience with Red Hat.
