Role Overview

The Clearance Center Associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Clearance Center, aiming to meet set objectives related to sales, post-retail activities, waste management, customer service, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver exceptional service to customers and collaborate effectively with staff.
  2. Support auction processes and oversee vendor accountability.
  3. Facilitate the movement of goods from the dock to designated areas as instructed.
  4. Ensure proper rotation of merchandise in the Outlet Store according to schedule.
  5. Process items for salvage as directed.
  6. Assist in maintaining the structural integrity, electrical systems, store equipment, and landscaping of the facility.
  7. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  8. Accurately operate the cash register.
  9. Load and unload delivery trucks.
  10. Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Flexibility in work shifts and willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance.
  • Commitment to a drug-free workplace.
  • Understanding of Goodwill's mission and active participation in its objectives.
  • Adherence to Goodwill's core values: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
