The Facilities Operations Support Specialist will collaborate closely with the Facilities and Operations teams to provide essential maintenance services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage daily responsibilities effectively. Reliability and professionalism are key attributes for success in this role, as is the capacity to engage with diverse personalities in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and manage incoming requests related to facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
- Assist in the replacement of electrical components such as outlets and switches.
- Support the management of cleaning teams to ensure that all office spaces are maintained to the highest standards.
- Participate in vendor coordination for services including sanitation, waste management, and maintenance.
- Assist with logistical support for employee relocations, events, and equipment handling.
- Maintain an organized inventory of facilities supplies, including tools and cleaning materials.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work environment.
- Support the facilities manager in conducting inspections and addressing safety concerns.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Candidate Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to completing assigned tasks. Effective communication and professionalism are essential, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving workplace.
Required Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
- 1 year of experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and maintenance practices.
- Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using computers for various tasks.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
- Experience with carpentry and electrical work is a plus.
