The Facilities Operations Support Specialist will collaborate closely with the Facilities and Operations teams to provide essential maintenance services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and manage incoming requests related to facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general campus upkeep.
  • Assist in the replacement of electrical components such as outlets, switches, and ballasts.
  • Support the management of cleaning and janitorial teams to ensure that all office locations meet high cleanliness standards.
  • Engage in vendor oversight for services including sanitation, waste management, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
  • Assist the operations team with logistical support for employee relocations, events, and loading/unloading of materials.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of facilities supplies, including tools and cleaning materials.
  • Ensure the work areas within the facilities are organized and clean.
  • Support the facilities manager during inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.

Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong ability to follow through on assigned responsibilities. They must be dependable, communicative, and maintain a professional attitude. The ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and adapt to a rapidly changing environment is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and maintenance practices.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using computer systems.
  • Access to reliable transportation for travel to various locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Experience with carpentry, power tools, and electrical work is a plus.
