About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Engineer to join our team at Atlas Technica. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering technical projects, responding to customer queries, and providing technical advisories for onboarding new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on technical project management with the ability to architect and implement technical and security solutions.
  • Build and maintain client infrastructures, including cloud-based SaaS solutions, virtual servers, networking equipment, and other common office technology.
  • Perform cloud and infrastructure assessments, making recommendations to enhance our service offering and add value to clients.
  • Continuously improve process and efficiencies of implementation and integration of new and existing technologies.
  • Create and execute technical work plans to meet project deadlines.
  • Proactively work cross-functionally to build relationships and rapport amongst technical and non-technical co-workers and clients.
  • Participate in research, design, and testing of new and existing technologies to add value to client business objectives.
  • Provide technical escalation and act as a subject matter expert for existing Project Engineers and clients.
  • Work with Project Managers to provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders.
  • Help cross-train, upskill, coach, and mentor engineers and interns.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of IT experience, including desktop support, systems engineering, and systems administration.
  • 1-3 years of end-user support and desktop support experience, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and desktop and mobile device troubleshooting.
  • 2-3 years of implementation and support of cloud products, including Microsoft 365, Box, Dropbox, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • 1-3 years of implementing and supporting enterprise networking equipment, including Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, Cisco switches, and Cisco WAPs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Group Policy, and email flow troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing.
  • 2-3 years of implementing and supporting cybersecurity products, including Mimecast, Sophos, Symantec, and Proofpoint.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, LAN, DMZ, WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing protocols, switching, and firewalls.
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft PowerShell scripting and/or the Microsoft Graph API to automate Microsoft 365 management tasks.
  • Financial industry experience, including familiarity with market vendor applications such as Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, FactSet, and CapIQ.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
