We are currently on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Trust and Estate Senior Tax Manager to enhance our Tax department. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing and reviewing intricate gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, along with associated schedules and forms.
  • Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth clients concerning estate, trust, and individual income taxes.
  • Conducting research and offering guidance on various estate, gift, and trust-related matters, including trustee and beneficiary concerns.
  • Identifying and executing estate and income tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Overseeing client billing and collections.
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members, including staff, seniors, and supervisors.
  • Researching and drafting memoranda on complex tax issues.
  • Managing intricate tax research projects across diverse industries.
  • Handling multiple engagements simultaneously to meet client deadlines efficiently.
  • Serving as a performance manager for team members.
  • Participating in internal professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with a CPA license, EA, or JD.
  • A Master of Science in Taxation is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the tax department of a public accounting firm, with a track record of leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
  • Strong analytical and technical tax skills, particularly in Gift, Estate, and Trust taxation.
  • Exceptional client service and communication abilities, with a proven capacity to cultivate and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Ability to manage competing projects in a dynamic, results-oriented team environment.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation Range: $130,000 - $210,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
