We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Consultant to become a vital part of our esteemed accounting firm. As a certified professional, you will oversee all financial operations in accordance with prevailing regulations. In addition to possessing a thorough understanding of accounting principles, you should have substantial experience in the field.

Your qualifications should include being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) recognized by a reputable professional organization or an esteemed institution for certified public accountants.

Your role will encompass the implementation of effective accounting practices while managing your accounting team. You will be tasked with generating monthly and annual financial statements, reviewing general ledger entries, and offering expert financial guidance. You should be adept at identifying and correcting any financial inconsistencies. Furthermore, you will need to propose strategies to mitigate or prevent fraudulent activities.

Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing tax filings, monitoring tax obligations, and providing financial expertise on tax-related issues.

Engaging with clients, auditors, and vendors while delivering precise information is crucial. You should also be well-versed in our business objectives, capable of investigating any irregularities, and recommending improvements.
Responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating financial risks and proposing preventive strategies
  • Collaborating with clients, business partners, auditors, and vendors
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory authorities
  • Providing expert financial advice and services to clients
  • Investigating and resolving any financial discrepancies
  • Conducting both internal and external audits
  • Preparing budgets, annual reports, and strategic plans
  • Advising clients on financial transactions, mergers, and acquisitions
  • Assisting clients with reciprocity agreements, training agreements, or similar tax/payment-related inquiries
  • Analyzing the financial systems and procedures of the company
  • Processing online payments and bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and forecasting budget reports
  • Preventing or suggesting methods to eliminate fraudulent activities
  • Negotiating financial terms with vendors
  • Providing support with tax planning
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • ACA qualification or equivalent is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or demonstrated experience in a Chartered Accountants environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage high-pressure situations
  • Proficient mathematical skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
