The Senior
Human Resources Systems Consultant will play a pivotal role in enhancing Alation's HR functions, systems, and workflows – fostering efficiencies for global scalability and crafting innovative solutions to enrich the employee experience.
As a SeniorHuman Resources Systems Consultant, you will be instrumental in refining our HR systems, with a particular emphasis on Workday reporting and technology, alongside Workday's Recruiting and core HCM modules.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR workflows, exceptional analytical abilities, data analysis skills, and technical expertise in Workday integration systems.
This position is part of the People department and will report to the People Operations and Systems team.This role offers a hybrid work model with expectations of in-office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with HR stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
Configure and oversee Workday Recruiting and HCM modules to facilitate talent acquisition, onboarding, and overall HR operations.
Design, develop, and implement Workday reports and dashboards tailored to meet business needs.
Utilize Workday Studio to create custom integrations that enhance system capabilities.
Manage and troubleshoot Workato pipelines that facilitate data exchange with other systems.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for Workday Recruiting and other HCM modules.
Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and HR personnel on Workday functionalities and best practices.
Lead new and ongoing projects, manage feature releases and system updates, and drive process enhancements.
Stay informed on Workday updates, enhancements, and industry trends to ensure our HR systems are optimized.
Integrate process and technology solutions to improve the overall delivery of HR programs and services to support our global workforce.
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of EIBs, Workday Studio, and integration system technologies.
8+ years of experience in global HR operations and systems, preferably in a high-growth setting.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience as an HR Systems Analyst with a focus on Workday Recruiting and HCM.
Thorough understanding of Workday configuration and customization capabilities.
Solid knowledge of HR systems, data structures, and processes; awareness of interdependencies between systems, including upstream and downstream impacts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience collaborating with HR teams, internal stakeholders, external vendors, and end-users.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Workday certification in Reporting and Analytics.
Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools.
Experience in project management and previous involvement in Workday implementation projects.
Proficient in Google Workspace and various HR systems.
Compensation Pay Range:
$129,000 - $148,500.00
