Role Summary:

The Production Associate I plays a crucial role in the safe and precise operation of Die-Cutting, Labeling, Tip-On, and/or Inserting machinery. This position leverages various proprietary and third-party programs and equipment to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. The Production Associate I is tasked with ensuring that all jobs scheduled for the day are completed according to Clarity Output Solutions (COS) standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets job tickets and/or specific instructions accurately.
  • Conducts necessary quality control (QC) inspections for each task based on established guidelines.
  • Utilizes a scanner and computer to log all jobs into proprietary COS software via the QC Check-In tool.
  • Operates essential functions of machinery to produce straightforward products.
  • Sets up and feeds materials through various machines while monitoring control points.
  • Identifies minor equipment issues and proactively mitigates machine jams to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborates effectively with other departments to meet manufacturing objectives.
  • Assists with light maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep as required.
  • Maintains general cleanliness, including waste disposal and facility upkeep.
  • Performs additional tasks as directed by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Proficient in navigating web browsers.
  • Basic mathematical and reading abilities required.
