Role Summary:

The Production Associate I plays a crucial role in the safe and precise operation of Die-Cutting, Labeling, Tip-On, and/or Inserting machinery. This position employs various proprietary and third-party tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. The Production Associate I is tasked with ensuring that all jobs scheduled for the day meet the specifications set by Clarity Output Solutions (COS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets job tickets and special instructions accurately.
  • Conducts necessary quality control (QC) inspections for each job in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Utilizes a scanner and computer to log all jobs into proprietary COS software via the QC Check-In tool.
  • Operates basic functions of machinery to produce straightforward products.
  • Sets up and feeds materials through various machines while monitoring control points.
  • Identifies minor equipment issues and proactively works to prevent jams while enhancing productivity.
  • Collaborates with other departments to meet manufacturing objectives.
  • Assists with light maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep as required.
  • Maintains cleanliness in and around the facility, including waste disposal and general assistance.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Proficient in navigating web browsers.
  • Basic math and reading skills are essential.
