Overview:

The Brand Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing initiatives that elevate the brand's presence, stimulate growth, and enhance brand recognition. This position focuses on fostering brand visibility, amplifying customer interaction, and driving sales or leads. The ideal candidate will possess a creative flair, robust leadership capabilities, and a fervent commitment to brand enhancement, all of which are vital for the triumph of our marketing endeavors and overarching brand vision. The Brand Marketing Strategist will work closely with various teams and report directly to the VP of Operations.

Our diverse operations include property management, development, construction services, self-storage consultancy, and insurance offerings. Additionally, we manage a portfolio of self-storage facilities across multiple states in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and assessment of marketing initiatives across diverse channels, including digital platforms, social media, print, events, and other advertising mediums. Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment with brand standards and desired outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitor evaluations, and customer insights to uncover trends, opportunities, and challenges. Leverage data-driven insights to guide marketing strategies and make informed decisions regarding product positioning and brand messaging.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, maintaining adherence to brand guidelines in all communications, marketing materials, and promotional efforts. Act as the brand's ambassador, safeguarding its image and integrity.
  • Coordinate with the Asset Management team on the design and procurement of signage and branded materials for our facilities.
  • Work with public relations firms to develop press releases and other publications, ensuring consistent messaging and terminology.
  • Optimize website content to enhance search engine rankings. Manage the relationship with the website platform provider, offering guidance and holding them accountable to our requirements.
  • Facilitate the digital onboarding of new assets within our portfolio.
  • Assist the Acquisitions team in crafting and refining narratives for various memorandums.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with the company's branding guidelines.
  • Utilize social media and digital advertising to engage potential customers and boost brand visibility.
  • Organize and participate in promotional events, trade shows, and community outreach programs to drive lead generation and strengthen brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and agencies for event management and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Assist in the creation and management of the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective marketing practices.
  • Provide regular updates on marketing activities, campaign performance, and market trends to management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to recommend continuous improvements and strategic decisions.
  • Manage the apparel ordering process across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Brand Marketing Strategist or in a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong grasp of marketing principles, including branding, messaging, and lead generation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn and experiment with new marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Experience in real estate is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed in a standard indoor office environment.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • May require stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to lift over 10 pounds.
