Your Role:

The Marketing Manager will be an integral part of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This position is pivotal in shaping the comprehensive marketing strategy for Virgin Hotels New York, aimed at achieving revenue targets and enhancing the visibility of our hotel and Food & Beverage offerings. The Marketing Manager will leverage their expertise in hospitality trends to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a quarterly marketing strategy that aligns with the annual objectives of the hotel and brand.
  • Maintain a dynamic 120-Day Food & Beverage Marketing Calendar to support overarching marketing strategies.
  • Create engaging marketing content in collaboration with internal and external partners, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of content strategies, including blog and social media calendars.
  • Manage all marketing initiatives, promotions, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure all communications reflect a consistent message and tone, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Act as the marketing representative for major events, sharing experiences through relevant channels.
  • Facilitate effective communication of promotions to operational teams through regular meetings and updates.
  • Conduct market research and provide monthly reports to the General Manager, proposing adjustments to marketing strategies as needed.
  • Monitor customer feedback across social media platforms, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Stay informed about our brand, products, and customer preferences to ensure content aligns with marketing strategies.
  • Analyze competitive market trends to maintain the hotel's competitive edge.
  • Manage guest databases and execute targeted email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Home Office Team to review marketing materials for brand consistency.
  • Supervise local PR initiatives to enhance brand presence.
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems to analyze and optimize marketing strategies.
