Your Role:

The Marketing Operations Leader will be an integral part of our Marketing team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This position is essential in shaping the comprehensive marketing strategy for Virgin Hotels New York, aimed at achieving revenue targets and enhancing visibility for our hotel and dining venues. The Marketing Operations Leader must possess a deep understanding of hospitality trends and work closely with key stakeholders to provide strategic insights that align with our short- and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a quarterly marketing strategy that aligns with the annual goals of the hotel and brand.
  • Manage a dynamic 120-day marketing calendar for food and beverage initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategies.
  • Create engaging marketing content in collaboration with both internal and external partners, including multimedia assets, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Oversee the daily management of content strategies, including social media and email marketing calendars.
  • Supervise the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and partnerships, ensuring they resonate with our target audience.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Act as the on-site marketing representative for major events, sharing experiences through various channels.
  • Facilitate regular communication with operational teams regarding promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and present findings to the General Manager, proposing adjustments to marketing strategies as needed.
  • Monitor customer interactions on social media and coordinate responses to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Understand our brand and customer base to ensure marketing content aligns with our strategic vision.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Manage guest databases and develop targeted email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Home Office Team to ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the local public relations agency to execute traditional PR strategies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems for marketing initiatives and analyze data to optimize performance.
  • Participate in regular meetings to contribute ideas and strategies for enhancing our marketing efforts.
