Job Summary:

BODYROK East Bay, North Bay & Peninsula is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching high-intensity Pilates classes on our custom-built reformers, providing exceptional hospitality to all clients, and representing the BODYROK brand both inside and outside of class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach high-intensity Pilates classes on our custom-built reformers, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience for clients.
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to all clients, including greeting them warmly, answering questions, and ensuring they have a positive experience.
  • Represent the BODYROK brand both inside and outside of class, embodying our values and mission.
  • Excellent ability to multitask and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Capability and interest in learning and growing with our expanding brand.
  • Follow the BODYROK teaching method, ensuring consistency and quality in all classes.

Requirements:

  • Attended a minimum of 10 BODYROK sculpt classes to gain a deep understanding of our method and philosophy.
  • Basic understanding of anatomy and biomechanics to ensure safe and effective exercise instruction.
  • Flexible teaching schedule, with a minimum of two days per week available for teaching.
  • CPR certification to ensure client safety.
  • Preferred 1-year minimum experience instructing one of the following: Pilates, Circuit Training, Indoor Cycling, Bootcamp, HITT, Boxing/Kickboxing, or Group Fitness.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate BODYROK method exercises and routines to clients, ensuring they understand the movements and can perform them safely.
  • Assisting clients with exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness, adapting to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Ability to modify exercises according to clients' fitness levels, ensuring an inclusive and challenging workout experience.
  • Teach effectively and safely during all classes, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
