Job Type: Part-time - Exempt

Compensation: RN - $55 to $60 per hour
LVN - $48 to $53 per hour

Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the MDS Coordinator is tasked with creating individualized care plans for residents, which includes overseeing the assessment process in compliance with state regulations and facility protocols. The MDS Coordinator utilizes standardized assessments to evaluate the functional abilities of each resident.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with prior experience as an MDS Coordinator in a Skilled Nursing environment preferred.
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California.
  • Current knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and relevant laws and regulations related to long-term care.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Ability to interact tactfully with staff, residents, families, visitors, regulatory agencies, and the public.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems; experience with electronic health records is a plus.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and supervise other staff members.
