Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of project budgets
  • Create plans, specifications, reports, permits, and designs
  • Conduct design calculations and prepare quantity estimates
  • Generate probable construction cost estimates
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and entry-level staff
  • Understand and navigate permit requirements and processes
  • Collaborate with design teams across various locations and disciplines
  • Engage with clients and regulatory bodies to secure project approvals
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Familiarity with other engineering software relevant to the field
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, and handle light to medium weights (10-30 pounds)
  • Capability to navigate construction job sites
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for technical tasks
