American Engineering is currently seeking experienced Civil Engineering professionals who are enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic engineering firm.
In this role, team members will be integral to the design teams, developing innovative solutions for projects in the Land Development and Water Resources sectors. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the design and execution of various civil engineering and land planning initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD and CAD / Civil 3D.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred (or the ability to obtain shortly after starting).
- Proficient in civil drafting, including road plans, commercial site layouts, and residential subdivisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in grading, drainage, stormwater management design, and erosion and sediment control is a plus.
- A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable with on-site work.
- Willingness to relocate or commute as necessary.
