Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the formulation of project budgets.
  • Prepare comprehensive plans, specifications, reports, permits, and designs for various projects.
  • Conduct design computations and quantity assessments.
  • Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and entry-level staff.
  • Understand and navigate permit requirements and processes.
  • Coordinate with the design team, including staff from multiple disciplines.
  • Engage with clients and regulatory bodies to secure project approvals.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Skilled in other engineering software pertinent to the field.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, stand, walk, and handle light to medium weights (10-30 pounds).
  • Capability to navigate construction job sites.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity, with the ability to operate technical equipment and analyze complex data.
