Position Overview
As a Senior Project Engineer at Allan Myers, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing heavy civil construction projects. This position requires a dedicated and skilled professional who is committed to excellence in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Project Manager to direct and coordinate project activities, ensuring successful completion within the designated scope.
2. Develop comprehensive construction plans, providing insights on methodologies and individual tasks necessary to achieve project objectives.
3. Monitor and adjust project schedules, incorporating resource and cost management as needed.
4. Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Address and resolve any drawing interpretation issues by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
6. Prepare necessary documentation such as design change requisitions and requests for information (RFIs).
7. Evaluate shop drawings and technical submissions for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
8. Act as the primary contact for contract-related matters between Allan Myers and project owners.
9. Identify potential safety concerns and collaborate with Estimators to ensure comprehensive budget planning.
10. Ensure timely finalization of purchase orders and subcontracts in partnership with the Project Manager and Purchasing Department.
11. Monitor subcontractor performance to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations.
12. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction management, including estimating, operations, or engineering roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- OSHA 30-hour certification is mandatory.
- FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) and PE (Professional Engineer) certifications are preferred.
- Proficient understanding of contract administration, job cost management, change order management, and safety protocols.
