Account Manager

At Applied Industrial Technologies, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to customers and prospects
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, proposals, and quotations to customers
- Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
- 6+ months of business-to-business sales experience or proven professional leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Basic word, excel, and computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Must live in specified territory
- Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
- Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects; mechanical aptitude
- Business-to-business outside sales experience
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Relationship-building skills at all levels with customers and prospect organizations
- Sense of humor
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Great planning and organizational skill
