Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine greeting, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes by accurately entering and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming details such as guest count and room rates.
  • Handle financial transactions, including credit card verification and cash management, while maintaining an organized house bank.
  • Respond promptly to phone inquiries, delivering clear and helpful information while documenting messages for guests.
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism, conducting thorough investigations to find effective solutions and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain composure during busy periods and emergency situations, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical skills for handling financial transactions accurately.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with guests and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to remain mobile and perform essential functions throughout the front office area.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and information retrieval.
  • Capability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
