Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to be a vital part of our esteemed establishment, Chatham Bars Inn, a renowned Five Star Hotel. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

The Front Desk Agent will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction, including:

  • Providing accurate room rate quotes and promoting additional services to guests.
  • Facilitating communication between the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams.
  • Ensuring accurate charges are posted to guest accounts.
  • Processing payments for guest transactions.
  • Maintaining accountability for cash and cash equivalents at the start and end of each shift.
  • Managing incoming phone calls and providing information to callers.
  • Offering administrative and reception support to management and staff.
  • Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor and using their names to personalize the experience.
  • Addressing guest concerns within the scope of authority and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Registering guests and assigning accommodations.
  • Upholding a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
