Guest Services Representative - Front Desk Operations
As a Guest Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your responsibilities will include ensuring a smooth experience from the moment guests arrive until their departure.
- Manage guest bookings and facilitate check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure accurate room status and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist guests with special requests while overseeing key management and safe deposit box access.
- Employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experiences through room upgrades and additional hotel services.
- Work in conjunction with the reservations team to handle same-day bookings and cancellations effectively.
- Adhere to established protocols for credit transactions, check-cashing, and cash management.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to uphold the hotel's professional image.
Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in the primary languages spoken by guests and staff is essential.
Experience:
Previous experience in a hospitality environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be capable of performing various physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
