POSITION SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greets and welcomes guests upon their arrival.
  • Oversees guest check-in, check-out, and billing procedures.
  • Handles sensitive guest information, including room assignments and payment methods.
  • Responds to guest inquiries, ensuring that any complaints or requests are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Adheres to all in-service requirements and complies with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year in hotel front desk operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage challenging situations with composure.

Work Environment:

Professional setting requiring business-casual attire or, in some cases, uniform professional dress; high levels of communication are necessary with both internal and external clients.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role:

Frequent close vision use, repetitive motions; bending; standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours); walking; reaching; occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
