Job Description

Trillium Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Business Technologist Program Director to lead our IT program management efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of IT programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals in the planning, analysis, design, development, and implementation of information technology programs, projects, or systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate multiple projects and teams of a complex and technical nature, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results.
  • Develop and implement work plans, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic planning and guidance to program areas, recommending new technologies and processes to improve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business processes that may be improved with technology solutions, and develop processes and tools to facilitate increased efficiencies.
  • Provide status reports on project plans, timelines, schedules, and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines governing IT computer systems, and oversee work and staff in assigned program to ensure consistent process and quality standards are implemented.
Requirements
  • Ability to supervise technical staff and programs, and lead IT professionals in the planning, analysis, design, development, or implementation of information technology programs, projects, or systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audiences, and to make presentations and conduct meetings.
  • Skill in the use of computers and software applications, and technical knowledge and skills in technologies appropriate to assigned program.
  • Ability to perform system analysis and design, and to collect and organize performance metric data to present to management.
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and apply policies and procedures in an IT environment, and to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to establish and maintain professional working relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Knowledge of technology and methodology of computer and network systems and software, and skill in organizing and prioritizing activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Skill in managing IT functions, including IT Governance and Compliance, Enterprise & Business Architecture, IT Service Management, Asset Management, Infrastructure and Operations, Application Development, PPM & Projects, or Data and BI Management.
  • Knowledge and skill with technologies and functions appropriate to leading an IT program area, and skill in people and resource management.
